Become an ACRA member today!

Any person with an interest in Cotswold sheep may become a member of the association by paying the annual dues. Membership is not limited to just owners of Cotswold sheep! ACRA members will receive at least 2 newsletters a year, connection with other shepherds through zoom events, and the ability to post Cotswold sheep, fiber, and art for sale. The best part of all, your membership will help to keep these wonderful animals in this world!

Breeder/owner: This member is over 18 years of age who breeds or owns ACRA or BCR Cotswold sheep. Retired ACRA or BCR Cotswold breeders/owners can also join this group. This member has all the rights and privileges of membership and has full voting rights on all subjects per the bylaws.

Associate or Friend of ACRA: This member is an associate member who supports the work breed associations do. This member has all the rights and privileges as a breeder/owner member and can vote if elected as a member of the board. See the bylaws for more information. We thank all of our Friends of ACRA as your donations contribute to the conservation, development, and promotion of the breed.

Junior member: This member is under 18 and does not have to pay for membership but will pay for ACRA or BCR sheep registrations and transfers. This member has all the rights and privileges as a breeder/owner member and can vote if elected to the board as a junior member. See the bylaws for more information. Our junior members are key to Cotswold survival! Junior members only registering for membership, after filling out the on-line form make sure to click on “Continue to Pay” which will take Junior members to a thank you page.

Registering sheep

  • Download the registration form (below), fill it out, and save form entitled with your Farm name.
  • Fill out the form below, upload your completed registration form(s), and then click the "Continue to Payment" button to through PayPal.

Transferring sheep

  • For all sheep transfers, fill out page 3 on the ACRA Online Registration Form with your name and contact information. Under “Transfers", fill out who the sheep are being transferred and information about the sheep being transferred. If the sheep are not registered, also fill out page 2, “Application for Registration”. For all sheep that are registered, sign the back of the Certificate of Registry and mail to the ACRA Registrar at: S5001 William Court, Eau Claire, WI 54701. The certificates will be mailed to the new owner once the registrar has added the transfer number and signed. If the sheep is being both registered and transferred, the registrar will write “per on-line instructions” in place of the seller’s signature, sign the form, and mail to the new owners.

Rush fees

  • Rush fees are for individual sheep not the entire registration, please pay accordingly. Please note in the comment section below which sheep(s) registration need to be rushed. The registrar will work to get this done within a week plus USPS mailing. Please contact the Registrar for any issues/comments/questions/needs.

Membership Dues Only

  • If becoming a member without registering sheep or paying only yearly dues, simply fill out form below. In the comment section, please list your farm name if applicable. Click the "Continue to Payment" button to through PayPal.
